02. Interpreting.
Conference, consecutive, and remote interpreting by certified professionals.
Live language is unforgiving. We dispatch interpreters trained for the pressure of the moment: simultaneous booths at conferences, consecutive in deposition rooms, whispered in boardrooms, and remote over secure platforms. Every interpreter is vetted for both the language and the field.
Files prepared to the agreed format, with bilingual tables on request. For sworn or certified work, the quotation will specify certification, delivery format and any additional authentication required. For interpreting: a vetted linguist, briefed on your subject matter, ready in the booth or on the call.
How we chargePer source word for translation, per session for interpreting, per page for certificates. We quote in writing inside two business hours. The quoted figure is the invoiced figure.
Interpreting
Simultaneous and conference interpreting
In simultaneous interpreting, the interpreter works in real time from a booth, so a conference can run at normal speed in more than one language. It suits conferences, large meetings and events.
Consecutive interpreting for legal and business meetings
In consecutive interpreting, the interpreter follows each segment of speech after the speaker pauses. It suits depositions, interviews, negotiations and smaller meetings where accuracy on every statement matters more than speed. Read more in our guide to simultaneous vs consecutive interpreting.
Whispered interpreting (chuchotage)
In whispered interpreting, the interpreter sits beside one or two listeners and interprets quietly as the meeting goes on. It suits boardrooms and site visits where only a few people need the other language.
Remote and telephone interpreting
Interpreters can join you remotely on Zoom, Teams or Webex, or by phone. Remote interpreting works well for short consultations, interviews and meetings with participants in different places.
How interpreting is booked and priced
Interpreting is priced per session, according to the booking. To get a quote, send the language pair, date, start and end time, location or online platform, subject matter and your preferred interpreting mode. Every interpreter is vetted for both the language and the subject, and briefed on your material before the session.
