A translation house. Not a marketplace.
Founded October 2019 by translators who had spent a decade in larger agencies, and grown tired of opaque pricing, anonymous subcontracting, and the creep of machine translation into work that ought to be done by a human.
Seven years. Twenty-four staff. A single bench.
We started with three languages and one office in Sandton. We now work across more than a hundred pairs, with translators in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and a small bench of partners abroad.
The model has not changed: every project is run by a named project manager you can phone, and signed off by a translator whose name appears on the file. We do not subcontract to anonymous marketplaces.
Three quality tiers: translation, translation plus second linguist edit, and translation plus full proofread. You choose the tier; we do not upsell. The price you are quoted is the price you pay.
We do not feed your documents into a public AI engine. We use translation memory and termbases that help our human translators stay consistent. That is a different thing.
