We started with a simple belief.

Professional translation should feel personal, transparent and accountable.

Too often, clients send important documents into a process they cannot see, with little idea of who is working on them or what happens before the final translation comes back.

We wanted to work differently. That means a real person managing your project, a clear quotation before work begins and straightforward communication from the first enquiry to the final file.

We have grown, but the principle behind Premium Lingua has stayed the same: every project deserves careful attention and someone accountable for getting it right.

No two clients come to us for quite the same reason.

We work across South Africa's official languages as well as a broad range of international languages.

But language combination is only part of the match. Wherever possible, we assign work to linguists with relevant subject knowledge and experience, whether the content is legal, medical, technical, commercial or intended for the general public.

How we manage your project

Good translation starts before the first sentence is translated.

We begin by understanding what the material is, who will read or hear it, where it will be used and what the finished translation needs to achieve.

A legal document, medical report, product website and training video may all require translation, but they do not require the same approach.

Once the scope is clear, your project manager coordinates the appropriate linguists, reviewers and any certification or formatting required. You have a point of contact throughout the project, so you know what is happening and who to speak to when you have a question.

Depending on the service level and requirements of the project, the process can also include an independent second-linguist edit, proofreading and additional quality review before delivery.

The aim is simple: the right people, the right process and a finished product that is fit for its purpose.
