About the Sesotho language.
Sesotho is one of South Africa's official languages and the national language of Lesotho. In South Africa it is widely spoken in the Free State and Gauteng. It belongs to the Sotho-Tswana group of languages, alongside Setswana and Sepedi, and is written in the Latin alphabet. South Africa and Lesotho use slightly different spelling conventions, so tell us where the translation will be read and we will follow the right one.
Sesotho is not Sepedi. The two are related, but they are separate languages with their own vocabulary and spelling. Documents sometimes arrive labelled "Sotho" when they are Sepedi or Setswana, so we check the source language before quoting. Register matters. Government and community communication usually needs plain, respectful wording that reads naturally, not a word-for-word rendering of English.
