South African employment particulars.
South African employment law requires employers to provide prescribed written particulars of employment. These include matters such as the employee’s occupation, workplace, hours, wage, deductions, leave and notice arrangements.
Premium Lingua translates those particulars as they appear in the document. It does not review the contract for compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act or any other law.
Translation vs legal review.
Contract translation
Accurately translates the agreement.
Legal review
Determines rights, enforceability or compliance.
Premium Lingua’s translation service does not itself constitute legal advice or a legal review of the employment terms.
Employment contracts for immigration and work visas.
South African immigration regulations use signed employment contracts in general work visa documentation, alongside various supporting employment and qualification records.
Where the contract is in another language, a translation may be required. Send it with any instructions you have received from the Department of Home Affairs or the visa facilitation centre.
Bilingual contract formatting.
Where appropriate, the translated contract can preserve clause numbering, schedules, tables and defined terms, so the source and the translation can be compared efficiently, clause by clause.
